Worked better than I expected, I've never used this style of crimper before, but after doing so all my past works with your run-of-the-mill crimp/wire stripper combo pliers has been 2nd guessed.
The included crimper works very well and is solid construction. I expect it to last for many years. Splices worked well, heat shrunk fairly easily, and did have enough glue to provide a waterproof connection.
