How to Crimp Battery Lugs

  1. Match the lug barrel to the cable gauge and cut the cable squarely.
  2. Strip the insulation without cutting strands and insert the conductor fully.
  3. Rotate the die to the matching AWG mark, position the barrel and close the handles completely.
  4. Pull-test, then seal the barrel and cable insulation with correctly sized heat shrink.
