The crimp tool appears to be of good quality. I love the racheting ability as well as the release. I crimped 10 ferrules and all were very secure in the connection that was make and good flow of voltage.I would recommend this tool for anyone needing to be able to crimp ferrules. And the price is decent as well
Overall I really like this tool. I’ve got no complaints about it at all. My issue is the picture shows the type of terminals to be crimped and none came with the tool. I didn’t expect 100 terminals but at least thought there would be 2 or 3 of the common sizes just as a teaser.
To make a crimp with this tool, to me is very akward feeling.It is not a smooth process.The crimps do seem very solid, but on the cheap connecters, the plastic sleeves get loose from the indentations,I wish the jaws were color coded.
