I recently purchased this wire stripper and I'm genuinely impressed at the quality of the tool. For the price point, you simply can't beat what you get here. The 3-in-1 functionality (stripping, cutting, and crimping) means I need just one tool in my go-to tool bag. What really sets this apart is the ring-shaped arc blade design. Unlike my old flat-blade stripper that would crush wires and damage the insulation, this tool delivers clean, burr-free cuts every single time. The precision-aligned blades have zero wobble, making the job consistently accurate. I've used it on both solid and stranded wire and it handled everything with ease from the smallest gauge up to 10ga (haven't had need for 8 yet). The gripping pads hold the wire securely without slipping, which is critical to strip insulation without damaging the conductor inside (a nicked conductor means a stress point where the conductor can break). If you're doing DIY electrical work or home automation projects, this tool will pay for itself in the time it saves. Pros might decide to go with the more well known name brands (at higher cost), since their job success depends on their tools, but this would be a great backup even for them. What used to take me 30-60 seconds per wire now takes about 5 seconds with perfect results. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a new wire stripper.
