A protected surface. An insulated cable transition.
Finish a specific battery lead with Haisstronica’s tinned battery cable lugs and accompanying heat shrink sleeves.
• Tinned copper body — combines conductivity with a corrosion-resistant surface finish.
• Matched attachment size — select the cable gauge and stud opening.
• 3:1 tubing supplied — insulate the crimped barrel and adjacent cable after proper.
Tinned Battery Cable Lugs with 3:1 Adhesive Heat Shrink Tubing create conductive, corrosion-resistant connections for batteries, marine cables, RV power systems, solar equipment and distribution blocks. Each 20-piece bottle contains 10 identical tinned-copper ring lugs and 10 matching adhesive-lined heat-shrink tubes; choose one AWG and one stud-hole size for the entire bottle.

Example verified from the 1/0 AWG variant image: supplied tubing is 0.75 in / 19.1 mm before recovery and 2.36 in / 60 mm long. Select the product variant by both conductor gauge and stud diameter.
Each bottle contains 10 identical tinned battery cable lugs in the selected AWG and stud-hole size, plus 10 matched 3:1 adhesive-lined heat-shrink tubes: five red and five black.
❓How do I choose the correct AWG and stud size?
Match the lug barrel to the conductor gauge and the ring hole to the equipment stud. Both values must match; a correct AWG with an oversized or undersized stud hole is not a secure fit.
❓Why use tinned copper and adhesive-lined tubing in marine wiring?
Tin plating slows surface oxidation of the copper, and correctly recovered adhesive-lined tubing helps block moisture and contaminants at the crimp. The connection still needs proper installation and inspection for the operating environment.
❓Can these cable lugs be crimped with ordinary pliers?
No. Use a cable-lug crimper and a die matched to the selected AWG. Ordinary pliers cannot create the controlled compression needed for a reliable high-current termination.
❓How to Choose
Confirm the conductor gauge from the cable marking or a wire-size gauge; do not select by outer insulation diameter.
Measure the equipment bolt or stud and choose the matching #10, 1/4-, 5/16-, 3/8- or 1/2-inch hole offered for that AWG.
Confirm the crimper covers the selected gauge and that the included tubing can slide over the crimped barrel before heating.
❓How to Crimp and Seal
Disconnect power. Cut the cable square, slide the heat-shrink tube onto the cable and strip only enough insulation for the conductor to fill the lug barrel.
Insert the conductor fully and crimp with a cable-lug die matched to the AWG size. Perform a firm pull test.
Center the adhesive-lined tubing over the barrel and cable insulation. Heat evenly with a heat gun until the tubing fully recovers and adhesive appears at the edges; allow it to cool before reconnecting power.

Use this kit for battery terminals, starter and charging cables, marine and RV electrical systems, solar battery banks, inverters, grounding points and busbar connections. The tin-plated surface helps protect the copper from oxidation, while the adhesive-lined tubing seals the crimp against moisture and contaminants when correctly recovered.
